Use of Technology to Promote Health and Wellbeing of People Who Are Homeless: A Systematic Review

Background: People who are homeless experience poorer health outcomes and challenges accessing healthcare contribute to the experienced inequality. There has been an expansion in using technology promote wellbeing potential enable people socially excluded, including those homeless, be able access services. However, little research undertaken explore how is used for homeless. This review aims address questions: ‘what mobile (mHealth) related by populations’ impact of populations’? Methods: An integrative methodology was employed. A systematic search electronic databases carried out between 4 January 2021 30 April 2021, searching papers published 2015 which yielded 2113 hits, relevant were selected specified inclusion exclusion criteria reported Preferred Reporting Items Systematic reviews Meta-Analysis. The quality assessment each paper included Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool. Results: Seventeen thematic analysis identified four themes: ownership, barriers use, connectivity benefits. Conclusion: It evident that support individuals homeless; however, there regarding internet, as well issues trust personal data they used. Further needed use with these challenges.
